Background: The present study recapitulates the potency of the novel synthesized piperazine-benzoquinone derivative as a lead molecule selectively targeting AChE along with the antioxidative potential for the management of cognitive decline in Alzheimer's disease.
Method: Novel piperazine-benzoquinone derivative was synthesized implementing appropriate synthetic procedures and was characterized by various spectral and elemental techniques. The purity of this synthetic analogue was ascertained by TLC, melting point determination and elemental analyses.

Aim: Breast cancer (BC), a disease in which abnormal breast cells grow out of control and form tumors, is a prevalent life-threatening disease worldwide. Oxidative stress has been implicated in the development and progression of various cancers, including BC. Effective therapies for cognitive impairments induced by brain irradiation are currently lacking. This study investigated the therapeutic potential of hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) for radiation-induced brain injury in a randomized controlled experimental model using adult male Wistar rats. Adult male Wistar rats were divided into four experimental groups: 0 Gy whole brain radiotherapy (WBRT) with normal baric air (NBA) treatment, 0 Gy WBRT with HBOT, 10 Gy WBRT with NBA, and 10 Gy WBRT with HBOT.
