This study aimed to assess measurement invariance for the Five-Factor Inventory for (Oltmanns & Widiger, 2020) across nine national samples from four continents ( = 6,342), and to validate a French translation in seven French-speaking national samples. All were convenience samples of adults. Exploratory factor analyses supported a four-factor structure in the French-speaking Western samples (Belgium, Canada, France, and Switzerland) while a three-factor structure was preferred in the French-speaking African samples (Burkina Faso and Togo), and no adequate structure was found in the Indian sample.

SARS-CoV-2 variant recurrence has emphasized the imperative prerequisite for effective antivirals. The main protease (Mpro) of SARS-CoV-2 is crucial for viral replication, making it one of the prime and promising antiviral targets. Mpro features several druggable sites, including active sites and allosteric sites near the dimerization interface, that regulate its catalytic activity.

Background: To estimate a correlation between change in lung ultrasound aeration score (LUSS) and mortality in patients with ventilator-associated pneumonia.
Materials And Methods: We conducted a prospective observational study in which lung ultrasound, the partial pressure of arterial oxygen to fraction of inspired oxygen ratio (PaO/FiO ratio), and static lung compliance were performed for five consecutive days since the diagnosis of ventilator-associated pneumonia (day 1-5) in a 20-bed multidisciplinary intensive care unit in at a tertiary care academic institute in Northern India. A hundred and seventeen ventilated patients were studied for the first 5 days after ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP) development.
