The US is facing a growing epidemic of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), with over 2.5 million cases of chlamydia, gonorrhea, and syphilis reported in 2021 and again in 2022. Purpose: To develop and evaluate the effectiveness of an asynchronously delivered app, InBloom, for postpartum depression (PPD) prevention relative to an evidence-based synchronously delivered in-person intervention, ROSE (Reach Out, Stay Strong, Essentials for mothers of newborns) for depression and return on investment via a prospective randomized controlled trial and quasi-experimental cohort analyses.
Background: PPD affects 1 in 7 gestational parents in the US, causing emotional distress, consequences for infant development and child adjustment, disruptions in family relationships, and financial burden. ROSE is an evidence-based intervention administered as four in-person group sessions plus one postpartum booster session.

The Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS) is the screening tool for perinatal depression, and its cut-off score varies according to context and population. In Cameroon, no study has yet defined a cut-off score or the prevalence of perinatal depression in adolescent mothers. Our aim is to determine the cut-off for teenage mothers in Cameroon.

Introduction: The incidence of gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) in Australia has tripled in the last 20 years. Consequently, over 40 000 pregnancies are now diagnosed as 'higher risk' each year. National health policy initiatives recommend increased integration of midwifery care in the United States to improve care quality and reduce maternal health disparities. However, the service models through which midwives provide midwifery care and produce quality outcomes are poorly understood. Midwifery-led care is a service model frequently associated with improved outcomes compared with other models.
