N6-methyladenosine (mA), a prevalent and essential RNA modification, serves a key function in driving autoimmune disease pathogenesis. By modulating immune cell development, activation, migration, and polarization, as well as inflammatory pathways, mA is crucial in forming innate defenses and adaptive immunity. This article provides a comprehensive overview of mA modification features and reveals how its dysregulation affects the intensity and persistence of immune responses, disrupts immune tolerance, exacerbates tissue damage, and promotes the development of autoimmunity.

Background: Cystic Fibrosis Transmembrane Conductance Regulator (CFTR) variants are essential for determining eligibility for CFTR modulator drugs (CFTRms). In contrast to Europe and the USA, the treatment eligibility profile of cystic fibrosis (CF) patients in Türkiye is not known. In this study we aimed to determine the eligibility of CF patients in Türkiye for the CFTRms.

Cancer immunotherapy leveraging nanovaccines represents a cutting-edge frontier in precision medicine, specifically designed to potentiate CD8 T cell-based immunotherapy. This review thoroughly delineates the evolving landscape of cancer nanovaccine development, emphasizing their advantageous role in modulating the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment (TME) to enhance CD8 T cell efficacy. We critically analyze current innovations in nanovaccine design, focusing on their capacity to deliver tumor antigens and immunostimulatory adjuvants effectively.

Chondroitin sulfate proteoglycans (CSPGs), key components of the extracellular matrix and the glial scar that forms around central nervous system (CNS) injuries, are recognized for hindering neuronal regeneration. We previously demonstrated the potential of pleiotrophin (PTN) to induce neurite outgrowth even in the presence of inhibitory CSPGs. The effects of PTN on microglia and oligodendrocytes are not well described.
