Objective: Introduction: Hyperplasia of the thyroid gland is recetly widespread, especially among women, with pathology. At structural changes of a gland there are various types of violations of the hormonal status of the organism - from hyperthyroidism through euthyroidism to hypothermia. The aim: The article aims at investigation of the peculiarities of the influence of mineral water "Naftusia" on the immunological status of women with non-calcular cholecystitis and hyperplasia of the thyroid gland, as well as the substantiation of the possibilities of using balneotherapy in the treatment of this pathology on the basis of the obtained data.

The gastroenteropancreatic endocrine system takes a direct part in formation of the integral bodily reaction to the mineral water intake. The possibility of our using drinking mineral waters to correct functions of the above system is of a great practical interest in aspects of health-resort therapy of diabetes mellitus and other medical problems.

It is shown that giving rats natural water "Naftusya" to drink during 5 days initiated a complex of variations in change of substances, conditioned by general adaptational reaction. Ultraviolet radiation of water has no effect on its balneoactivity while ultrafiltration attenuates it a little.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFA clinical study was made of rate of elimination of radiocaesium in 137 adult subjects and 4700 children residing in the territory affected by radioactive contamination caused by the Chernobyl accident, undergoing rehabilitative treatment at the Truskavets health resort. A complex of therapeutic measures involving the use of the mineral water "Naftusia" containing few mineral substances, and, in addition, enterosorbents (Silard-P, Enterosgel, Ferrocin), the concentrated product "Vin-Vita" were associated with moderate stimulation of elimination of 137Cs from the organism. Supplementary ferrocin over six days had the best effect in the above series, with the activity of radiocaesium having been decreased by 40% whereas a complex of therapeutic measures over 20 days with no such supplement led to 17% reduction in 137Cs.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFEffects were studied of bottled mineral water "Zbruch Naftusia" on the blood and immunity condition of hypothetically healthy population of the Donetsk region living under environmental hazard conditions and having disorders in the area of the immune system. The studies made showed that prescription of the above drug preparation for use by conditionally healthy population of the Donetsk region, just those very contingents maintaining long-time occupational contact with liquidators of aftermath of the Chernobyl breakdown, is associated with immunocorrection at the level of content of the immunocompetent cell populations and subpopulations, with their function restored against the background of alleviating of the syndrome of endogenous intoxication that had developed because of them being resident under health hazard conditions in an ecocrisis-ridden region.
