Glioblastoma (GBM) is a devastating malignant brain tumor with a poor prognosis. GBM is associated with radioresistance. Post-translational modifications (PTMs) such as protein phosphorylation can play an important role in the cellular response to radiation.

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and biliary tract cancers (BTC) pose significant diagnostic and therapeutic challenges. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and multiphase computed tomography (CT) have been the preferred imaging modalities for diagnosis, staging, and surveillance of patients with these malignancies. The best clinical outcomes depend on the appropriate selection of treatment options from the tools available in neo-adjuvant therapy, surgical resection, locoregional therapy, liver transplantation, and adjuvant therapy.

Skeletal muscle index (SMI), as an effective indicator of nutritional status, plays an important role in the prognosis of malignancy. However, the impact of skeletal muscle changes on tumor prognosis has not been systematically elaborated. We aimed to explore the value of skeletal muscle changes in the prognosis of distal cholangiocarcinoma (DCC) patients undergone pancreaticoduodenectomy (PD).

Nitrogen single and multiple breath washout tests are sensitive in assessing peripheral airway function, and lung imaging detects structural abnormalities, but little is known about their use in paediatric cancer patients and survivors. We aimed to 1) identify studies using nitrogen single or multiple breath washout tests and/or lung imaging to assess pulmonary toxicity in paediatric cancer patients and survivors, and 2) describe reported abnormalities.

Aims: Coronary microvascular dysfunction (CMD) is a heterogeneous condition defined by reduced coronary flow reserve (CFR). The new index 'microvascular resistance reserve' (MRR) has been developed, but its role is unclear. We investigate the relationships between functional indices in ANOCA (angina and non-obstructive coronary arteries) patients and evaluate the hemodynamic features of different CMD subtypes.
