Need For A Strategic Approach To Knowledge Transfer And Exchange: Late-phase clinical trials and systematic reviews find results that have the potential to improve health outcomes for people. However, there are often delays in these results influencing clinical practice. We developed a knowledge transfer and exchange strategy to support research teams, aiming to identify activities along the research process to maximise and accelerate the research impact.

Feline coronavirus (FCoV) is a virus endemic in cat populations. Specific genomic mutations give it a strong tropism for macrophages, allowing systemic infection and the development of a disease known as feline infectious peritonitis. : RAS guanyl-releasing protein 1 (RASGRP1) deficiency is characterized by immune dysregulation and Epstein-Barr virus (EBV)-related lymphoproliferation. Diffuse mesangial sclerosis is one of the infrequent causes of infantile nephrotic syndrome. : Here, we described a 7-year-old girl who was diagnosed with diffuse mesangial sclerosis at 5 months old and subsequently developed chronic bilateral neck swelling at the age of 3 years.

Background: High age is the biggest risk factor for Alzheimer's disease (AD). Approved drugs that slow down the aging process have the potential to be repurposed for the primary prevention of AD. The aim of our project was to use a reverse translational approach to identify such drug candidates in epidemiological data followed by validation in cell-based models and animal models of aging and AD.
