The system of hemostasis was subjected to a comprehensive study in 116 adult patients with food toxoinfections of varying severity. The moderate and severe forms were primarily marked by the signs of hypercoagulation and high aggregation of formed elements of the blood. The symptoms of hypocoagulation dominated in extremely severe disease patterns. Intravenous infusion of crystalloid solutions (Kvartasol and Trisol) in an amount of 30-100 ml/kg with regard to the degree of dehydration promoted the elimination of the disorders cited.
