Aneurysms of the middle cerebral artery (MCA) account for up to 40% of all unruptured intracranial aneurysms [1-3] and 14% to 20% of ruptured ones. [4-5] Giant MCA aneurysms are rare, representing 10% of cases [6], but carry an aggressive natural history, with the UCAS Japan study reporting an annual rupture rate of ∼ 17%. [7].

Introduction And Significance: Giant mesenteric cysts are rare and their clinical presentation varies depending on their location and size and therefore varies widely in clinical manifestations. Many theories have attempted to explain the occurrence of these tumors but no precise cause has been found. However, surgical excision is the gold standard in the treatment of these tumors and there is no need for adjuvant radiotherapy or chemotherapy.

Predatory and large-bodied coral reef fishes have fundamental roles in the functioning and biodiversity of coral reef ecosystems, but their populations are declining, largely due to overexploitation in fisheries. These fishes include sharks, groupers, Humphead wrasse (Cheilinus undulatus), and Green Humphead parrotfish (Bolbometopon muricatum). In the western Indian Ocean, this situation is exacerbated by limited population data on these fishes, including from conventional visual census methods, which limit the surface area surveyed.

Introduction: Giant basal cell carcinoma (GBCC) is a rare and aggressive subtype of basal cell carcinoma (BCC), characterized by a diameter of ≥5 cm and a potential for deep tissue invasion. This study aimed to present our experience with the surgical management of GBCC in the maxillofacial region, focusing on resection and immediate reconstruction strategies.
Methods: We conducted a retrospective analysis of 5926 patients with BCC in the maxillofacial region from 2010 to 2020, with a specific emphasis on 32 patients diagnosed with GBCC.
