A high kv technique--145 kv--and dorsal flexion in the a.p. projection has proved advantageous for the demonstration of the lung apices and subclavicular regions. If suitable apparatus is available, the routine use of this method is recommended, particularly for institutes which deal with a high number of pulmonary problems.

Purpose: This study aims to compare the clinical and radiological outcomes of three different techniques used in the surgical treatment of ulnar styloid fractures.
Material And Method: Ulnar styloid fractures treated surgically between 2012 and 2022 were evaluated retrospectively. There were three groups in the study: Group I (Kirschner wire, N= 19), Group II (tension band, N= 27) and Group III (headless compression screw, N= 25).

Objective: This study conducts a rigorous meta-analysis of existing literature to rigorously examine the efficacy of Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) in ameliorating functional deficits associated with Chronic Ankle Instability (CAI).
Methods: Literature searches were conducted in multiple databases including China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), VIP, Wanfang, China Biology Medicine disc (CBM), PubMed, EBSCO (Medline, CINAHL, SPORTDiscus, and Rehabilitation & Sports Medicine Source), Embase, ScienceDirect, ProQuest, Cochrane Library, and Web of Science for randomized controlled trials assessing the effects of Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation interventions on patients with Chronic Ankle Instability. The publication timeframe spanned from the inception of each database until April 10, 2024.

Background: An all-inside endoscopic flexor hallucis longus (FHL) tendon transfer is indicated for the treatment of chronic, full-thickness Achilles tendon defects. The aim of this procedure is to restore function of the gastrocnemius-soleus complex while avoiding the wound complications associated with open procedures.
Description: This procedure can be performed through 2 endoscopic portals, a posteromedial portal (the working portal) and a posterolateral portal (the visualization portal).

Background: Mallet finger injuries, characterized by a flexion deformity caused by trauma to the extensor mechanism at the base of the distal phalanx, can lead to significant functional impairment if not treated appropriately. Surgical interventions for osseous mallet finger injuries often include techniques such as extension-block pinning and perioperative modifying plate fixation. When comparing these two methods, it is critical to assess factors such as technical ease, perioperative considerations, and postoperative outcomes.

Purpose: This observational pilot study investigated (1) carpal positioning in the neutral wrist pose, (2) the scapholunate (SL) rotation axis, (3) physiological SL motion, and (4) the SL distance after combined palmar and dorsal SL ligament reconstruction using quantitative four-dimensional computed tomography (4D-CT) imaging.
Methods: Six subjects were included, and 4D-CT images of both wrists were obtained. Kinematic parameters of the treated side were compared to those of the healthy contralateral side, which was used as the normal reference.
