: Chronic low back pain (CLBP) is prevalent among older adults and leads to significant functional limitations and reduced quality of life. Segmental stabilization exercises (SSEs) are commonly used to treat CLBP, but the selective activation of deep abdominal muscles during these exercises can be challenging for patients. To support muscle activation, physiotherapists use biofeedback methods such as palpation and ultrasound imaging.

Background: An inclinometer is a reliable tool for measuring spinal alignment. Measurement of static standing posture spinal curvature angles using smartphone inclinometer applications has been investigated in the lumbar spine but has not been reported for the thoracic spine.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the clinical value of diagnostic tests for the long head of the biceps tendon (LHBT) injuries in the setting of a Patte stage 1 supraspinatus tendon rupture.
Methods: This was a prospective cohort multicenter study of 361 patients aged 30 to 80 years with Patte stage 1 distal supraspinatus tendon rupture. The LHBT was assessed clinically by palpation of the bicipital groove, the speed test, the Yergason test and the Kibler test.

However, its utility and accuracy in the upper limb are unknown.
