Background: The effectiveness of changing the type of luteal phase support in patients with poor ovarian response (POR) remains unclear based on the available evidence. This study aimed to compare the effectiveness of various luteal phase support (LPS) methods, including progesterone alone, human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) alone, and the combination of progesterone with hCG, in these patients.
Materials And Methods: In this randomized clinical trial, 375 patients diagnosed with POR based on the Bologna criteria underwent intracytoplasmic sperm injection-embryo transfer (ET) cycles at the Royan Institute between November 2015 and June 2019.

Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection in the placenta can lead to fetal distress and demise, characterized by severe trophoblast necrosis, chronic histiocytic intervillositis (CHI), and massive perivillous fibrin deposition. We aimed to uncover spatial immune-related protein changes in SARS-CoV-2 placentitis compared with CHI placentas and uncomplicated pregnancies to gain insight into the underlying pathophysiological mechanisms. Placentas were retrospectively collected from cases with SARS-CoV-2 placentitis resulting in fetal distress/demise (n = 9), CHI (n = 9), and uncomplicated term controls (n = 9).

Objective: To study immediate therapeutic outcomes, subsequent fertility effects and menstrual changes in cesarean scar pregnancy patients who received uterine artery embolization with or without methotrexate followed by ultrasound guided curettage.
Materials And Methods: Totally, 82 patients who met the inclusion criteria were enrolled in our study and divided into two groups. Group I included 50 patients who received uterine artery embolization and ultrasound guided curettage, and Group II had 32 patients who received uterine artery embolization plus methotrexate and ultrasound guided curettage.
