The therapeutical efficiency of the new enzyme preparation Triase which contains microbial lipase, protease, and alpha-amylase was studied in dogs with experimental pancreatic failure. Enzyme maldigestion was made by bandaging the great pancreatic duct with pancreatic trypsin injection. The daily therapeutical dose of Triase (4 tablets) eliminated dyspepsia, creatorrhoea, restored body weight.

A modern data review on the importance of fibrinolysis system is given. A considerable success has been scored during the study of molecular parameters of fibrinolysis system: the plasminogen, plasmin, its inhibitors, plasminogen activators and the mechanism of activation system have been characterized. The entrance of A, K, C, P and PP vitamins has been established to be necessary for the normal functioning of the fibrinolysis system; the dependence of the blood fibrinolytic activity upon the initial plasminogen content and concentration of its activators in blood has been revealed.

Tricholysine (triase) and longolytin, isolated from cultural fluid of two similar lower fungi Trichothecium roseum and Arthrobotrys longa, exhibited anticoagulant and fibrinolytic properties after addition to blood plasma of experimental animals. Intravenous administration of the enzymes into animals caused the following effects: an increase in fibrinolytic activity, a slight decrease of fibrinogen concentration, an inadequate elongation of recalcification time and of thrombin time. Analysis of thromboelastograms demonstrated the anticoagulant effect: index of coagulation and maximal amplitude were decreased, time of coagulation was elongated.
