The authors describe the microradiographical and histological aspects of ill sutures in cases of trigonocephalies, brachycephalies and oxycephalies. This is based on the study of fragments coming from 30 cases of craniostenosis. They question the responsibility of the dura mater and invoke an encephalic cause producing by error forces at the level of the sutural areas. They also stress the absence of chondroid tissue at this particular level.

Background: Oliguric acute kidney injury (AKI) is one of the critical conditions which needs emergent treatment due to the lack of the capacity of excreting toxins and fluids, and plasma membrane bleb formation is considered as one of the characteristic morphologic alterations in ischemic AKI in both animal models and human. We present here an autopsy case with clear electron microscopy images capturing a definitive instance of blebbing in ischemic AKI.
Case Presentation: A 66-year-old man was admitted for oliguric AKI with nephrotic syndrome (NS).

Background: Recent studies show that hyperactivation of mTOR (mammalian target of rapamycin) signaling plays a causal role in the development of thoracic aortic aneurysm and dissection. Modulation of PP2A (protein phosphatase 2A) activity has been shown to be of significant therapeutic value. Purpose Of Review: This review aims to summarize the histological differences among thrombi in acute myocardial infarction, ischemic stroke, venous thromboembolism, and amniotic fluid embolism, a newly identified thrombosis.
Recent Findings: Acute coronary thrombi have a small size, are enriched in platelets and fibrin, and show the presence of fibrin and von Willebrand factor, but not collagen, at plaque rupture sites. Symptomatic deep vein thrombi are large and exhibit various phases of time-dependent histological changes.
