Background: This review summarized prophylactic retinectomy technique and its effect on anatomic and functional outcomes in severe open globe injuries (OGIs).
Methods: A comprehensive search in PubMed (MEDLINE), Embase, Scopus, and EuropePMC databases was performed up until 8 January 2020. Enrolled studies include case series, studies involving pars plana vitrectomy (PPV) combined with retinectomy in severe penetrating injuries with or without IOFB, perforating injuries, and globe ruptures.

Purpose: To report a case of endophthalmitis following bleb needling in a patient previously implanted with a PRESERFLO MicroShunt.
Methods: Case report.
Results: A 40-year-old woman with bilateral malformative glaucoma repeatedly operated on in childhood underwent PRESERFLO MicroShunt implantation in her right eye and six needling revisions (NRs) and a surgical revision due to unsatisfactory intraocular pressure (IOP) control due to bleb encapsulation.

Purpose: To describe a case of delayed-onset hemorrhagic choroidal detachment (HCD) in a patient affected by primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG) undergone PreserFlo Microshunt implantation.
Case Report Description: A 76-year-old patient with POAG, under treatment with Dabigatran (a novel oral anticoagulant), underwent an uncomplicated PreserFlo Microshunt implantation in the left eye. In the first postoperative day, intraocular pressure (IOP) was 6 mm Hg, conjunctival bleb was diffuse, anterior chamber (AC) deep, and device correctly positioned.

Purpose: To report the safety and efficacy of parsplana tube insertion of Aurolab aqueous drainage implant(AADI) in patients with refractory glaucoma.
Methods: Charts of patients with refractory glaucoma who underwent AADI via the parsplana route between June 2014 and June 2018with a minimum follow-up of 6 months were retrospectively reviewed. Success was defined as complete when the intraocular pressure (IOP) was ≥5 and18 mmHg or IOP reduction was 30%from baseline without antiglaucoma medication (AGM) andas qualified if requiring additional AGMs.

Background: Suprachoroidal haemorrhage is a rare complication of either medical anticoagulation treatment or intraocular surgical procedures. Suprachoroidal haemorrhages often have devastating visual outcome despite conservative and/or surgical intervention.
Case Presentation: A patient with known Open Angle Glaucoma and Atrial Fibrillation on warfarin presents symptoms and signs suggestive acute angle closure.
