From 1971 the authors operated on 6 patients with ureterocoele type B (Uson), using a modified Hutch-Chisholm method. Following the removal of the ureterocoele and reconstruction of the detrusor muscle, the hiatus of the ureter and the vesicular wall, the ureter is placed on the reconstructed muscle whereas its free end is fixed to the trigone. Covering the ureter with vesical mucosa is not necessary; in cases with large ureterocoeles that is not even possible. The regenerative capacity of the vesical mucosa is great and rapid and covers the intravesicular part of the ureter without causing damage to the ureteral orifice or to its valvular function. In all 6 patients the results were good at the control examination 3 to 6 years postoperatively.

Cystitis glandularis (CG), known as a pre-gradual lesion in the bladder, is the pathological changes in the vesical mucosa characterized by inflammatory invasion and chronic obstruction. Clinically, effective treatment against CG is prescribed only when using drug therapy. Introduction And Importance: Ureteric stump syndrome [USS] is a series of febrile recurrent lower abdominal pain, urinary tract infections, and hematuria that sometimes present with empyema as a rare complication. The ureteric stump is left after ureteric re-implantation due to an impacted stone at the Vesical-ureteric junction [VUJ], or after nephrectomy of a non-functional kidney due to a distal stone; the ureteral stump forms a source of infection to the urinary bladder, in addition to long-term obstructive stones left at the ureteric stamp. This usually cause chronic irritation of the mucosa and potentially change to metaplasia, dysplasia and malignancy.

Aim: The aim of this study was to compare the differences between angles of bladder neck in girls with overactive bladder and those in healthy ones using transabdominal ultrasonography.

Materials And Methods: This study consists of 28 girls complicated with overactive bladder (Group I) and 40 healthy girls (Group II). The anteroposterior vesical wall angle (APVA), urethroposterior vesical wall angle (UPVA), urethroanterior vesical wall angle (UAVA), thickness of bladder mucosa, distance of urethral orifices, and distance between ureter and urethra orifice were measured in supine position using transabdominal ultrasonography.
