Aims: According to the 2023 International Consensus, glucose metrics derived from two-week-long continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) can be extrapolated up to 90 days before. However, no studies have focused on adults with type 1 diabetes (T1D) on multiple daily injections (MDIs) and with second-generation intermittently scanned CGM (isCGM) sensors in a real-world setting.
Methods: This real-world, retrospective study included 539 90-day isCGM data from 367 adults with T1D on MDI therapy.

Reliable, continuous methods are needed. Purpose: To examine the effects of structured aerobic exercise on 24-hour mean blood glucose outcomes assessed by continuous glucose monitors in adults with type 2 diabetes.
Methods: The study established specific inclusion and exclusion criteria and conducted a comprehensive search across five databases, including PubMed, Web of Science, Embase, Cochrane Library, and EBSCOhost from the start year of each database's coverage to 22 July 2024. The quality of the included studies was evaluated using the Cochrane Handbook 5.

International guidelines, such as those from the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) and the European Society of Anaesthesiology (ESA), recommend fasting durations of six hours for solids and two hours for clear liquids. However, adherence to these guidelines often varies in clinical practice, leading to prolonged fasting times that can negatively impact patient outcomes, including dehydration, hypoglycemia, discomfort, and delayed recovery.
