99mTc-methylene diphosphonate (MDP) bone scintigraphy demonstrated localization in an intracranial metastasis of osteogenic sarcoma. This unusual case suggests that bone scintigraphy may have diagnostic value in the early diagnosis of metastatic ossifying lesions.

Background: Bone scans using technetium-99m methylene diphosphonate (99mTc-MDP) are widely used in nuclear medicine for diagnosing various bone disorders. However, the radiation exposure associated with these procedures necessitates careful consideration and optimization.
Aim: This study aimed to evaluate radiation doses in terms of Effective Dose (ED) and establish Diagnostic Reference Levels (DRLs) for 99mTc-MDP bone scans in Saudi Arabia.

We report the 99mTc-MDP bone scan of a 44-year-old man with a history of lung adenocarcinoma and recent multiple joint pain after completing pembrolizumab immunotherapy treatment. This interesting image of symmetric uptakes around bilateral joints throughout the skeleton resembles the ball sensors on a motion capture suit. Hence, we recommend naming this distinctive imaging appearance as the "motion capture suit" sign.

To analyze the clinical characteristics of patients with metastatic calcification undergoing maintenance dialysis. Patients diagnosed with metastatic calcification via 99mTc-MDP bone scintigraphy between June 2019 and March 2023 at our hospital were included in this study. All patients were followed from the time of diagnosis until death, loss to follow-up, or the study endpoint (July 2023).

Purpose: The aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of single-photon emission computed tomography/computed tomography (SPECT/CT) in detecting and localizing the causative vertebra in cases of suspected fresh osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures (OVCFs) in patients with contraindications to MRI.
Methods: A total of 21 patients with severe back pain with 31 suspected OVCF segments and contraindications to MRI were initially identified through radiographs and the back pain-inducing test (BPIT). The responsible vertebral bodies were determined using [Tc]MDP SPECT/CT before percutaneous vertebroplasty (PVP).

Phyllodes tumors (PTs) are rare fibroepithelial tumors accounting for less than 1% of all breast neoplasms. They are malignant in 20% of cases. Only a few cases of malignant PT metastatic to bone have been reported.
