Humans encounter both natural and artificial radiation sources, including cosmic rays, primordial radionuclides, and radiation generated by human activities. These radionuclides can infiltrate the human body through various pathways, potentially leading to cancer and genetic mutations. A study was conducted using random sampling to assess the concentrations of radioactive isotopes and heavy metals in mineral water from Iran, consumable at Arak City.

Lateral lumbar interbody fusion(LLIF), including extreme lateral interbody fusion(XLIF) and oblique lateral interbody fusion(OLIF), constitute a treatment option for many lumbar disorders that predominantly cause degenerative disc disease. LLIF is beneficial for managing conditions, such as lumbar spondylolisthesis, degenerative disc disease, and adult spinal deformities. LLIF is preferred for enabling indirect decompression of the spinal canal and nerve root foramen, without inducing immediate postoperative damage to the peri-vertebral tissues.

Objective: Cloud-based, surgical augmented intelligence (Cydar Medical, Cambridge, UK) can be used for surgical planning and intraoperative imaging guidance during complex endovascular aortic procedures. We aim to evaluate radiation exposure, operative safety metrics, and post-operative renal outcomes following implementation of Cydar imaging guidance using a manually matched cohort of aortic procedures.
Methods: We retrospectively reviewed our prospectively maintained database of endovascular aortic cases.

With only 30-40% of patients eligible for surgery upon diagnosis, alternative therapies are imperative. This study assesses the efficacy of Yttrium-90 (Y-90) radioembolization for unresectable ICC patients in a non-university tertiary care center (NUTCC).
