Aim: To study the associations between risk factors, clinical characteristics, severity of brachiocephalic artery (BCA) atherosclerosis and severity of coronary artery (CA) disease in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS).
Material And Methods: The study included patients with any type of ACS and obstructive coronary artery disease confirmed by coronary angiography. A quantitative analysis of coronary angiography data was performed with an assessment of the number of CAs with significant stenosis and calculation of the SYNTAX score.

Background: Immunotherapy, including the use of immune checkpoint inhibitors such as nivolumab, is increasingly common in cancer treatment and can lead to various immune-related adverse effects, including rare cases of diabetic ketoacidosis. This case report highlights an unique instance of nivolumab-induced diabetic ketoacidosis in a patient without prior history of diabetes, emphasizing the importance of careful monitoring even in those without traditional risk factors.
Case Presentation: We report a case of a 70-year-old Caucasian male with metastatic esophageal adenocarcinoma who developed diabetic ketoacidosis 3 weeks after stopping nivolumab therapy.

Background: This study aimed to investigate the associations between noninsulin-dependent insulin resistance indices (NI-IRIs), including the triglyceride-glucose (TyG) index, TyG-BMI, triglyceride-to-high-density lipoprotein cholesterol ratio (TG/HDL-C), and metabolic score for insulin resistance (METS-IR), as well as the occurrence of restenosis in patients with lower extremity atherosclerotic occlusive disease after drug-coated balloon (DCB) treatment.
Methods: The primary endpoint was restenosis within one year after the procedure, which was defined as ≥ 50% stenosis of the treated artery segment. The association between NI-IRIs and restenosis was assessed via multivariable logistic regression analysis.

Background: Immune dysregulation, polyendocrinopathy, enteropathy, X-linked (IPEX) syndrome is a rare single-gene X-linked immunodeficiency disease caused by mutations in the forkhead box protein 3 (FOXP3) gene. The typical clinical manifestations of IPEX mainly include severe atopic dermatitis, insulin-dependent type 1 diabetes mellitus, and intractable diarrhea.
Case Presentation: Here, we report a boy with intractable diarrhea diagnosed with early-onset IPEX syndrome due to the c.
