The first case of asymptomatic bilateral synchronous hypernephroma is described in a 52-year-old man who had a long history of alcoholic cirrhosis and died of uncontrollable gastrointestinal bleeding. The literature is reviewed briefly and relevant etiologic factors are discussed.
