Background And Objective: Cerebral aneurysms occur as balloon-like outpouchings in an artery, which commonly develop at the weak curved regions and bifurcations. When aneurysms are detected, understanding the risk of rupture is of immense clinical value for better patient management. Towards this, Fluid-Structure Interaction (FSI) studies can improve our understanding of the mechanics behind aneurysm initiation, progression, and rupture.

Background: Although optical coherence tomography (OCT) guidance with the 'MLDMAX' criteria is very useful for de-novo lesions during percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), there are limited studies on its benefits in patients with in-stent restenosis (ISR). This study aimed to compare the clinical outcomes of patients with ISR who underwent repeat PCI (re-PCI) with OCT or angiographic guidance.
Methods: This retrospective study enrolled 2142 patients with ISR who underwent re-PCI at Nanjing First Hospital from January 2016 to January 2023.

Introduction: The region on chromosome 9p21 has consistently been identified in genome-wide association studies (GWAS) as the top locus for type 2 diabetes (T2D), however, genetic variations in this locus affecting both T2D and coronary artery disease (CAD) require further characterized. Our aim was to assess the effects of rs10811661, a variant validated in GWAS, on log (TG/HDL-C), which has been associated with an atherogenic lipid profile.
Methods: A total of 121 patients with T2D who underwent coronary angiographic examination were included in this study.

Introduction: In the current study, we hypothesized that the Japanese below-the-knee chronic total occlusion score could be used to stratify the lesion difficulty of endovascular therapy for below-the-knee chronic total occlusion through angiographic evaluation. We thus aimed to evaluate the prognostic impact of the Japanese below-the-knee chronic total occlusion score in patients with chronic limb-threatening ischemia after successful endovascular therapy for below-the-knee chronic total occlusion.
Methods: This was a retrospective, single-center observational study.
