Nuclear medicine has significantly contributed to precision surgery in breast cancer in the past decades. Radioguided surgery (RGS) has enabled sentinel node (SN) biopsy in assessing regional nodal involvement modifying the management of patients with early breast cancer. For the axilla the SN procedure has resulted in fewer complications and better quality of life when compared with axillary lymph node dissection.

Objective: To evaluate by in- vivo lymphoscintigraphy and SPECT-CT imaging, the lymphatic drainage patterns of para-nasal sinus(PNS) tumors. To confirm or refute the belief of the retropharyngeal lymph node (RPLN) being the significant draining lymph node for such tumors.
Methods: Prospective cohort study conducted on previously untreated PNS tumors with no clinico-radiological evidence of lymph node metastasis.
Clinical effectiveness and safety of intraarticular administration of a Tin radiocolloid (Synovetin OA ) for treatment of early and intermediate grade osteoarthritis of the elbow in a dose finding study conducted in 44 dogs.

Osteoarthritis of the elbow joint secondary to elbow dysplasia is common in dogs. Intraarticular radionuclide injection is thought to suppress both synovitis and inflammatory pain mediators in the joint which are not directly addressed by current treatments. Purpose: Radiosynoviorthesis (RSO) using the intraarticular application of beta-particle emitting radiocolloids has for decades been used for the local treatment of inflammatory joint diseases. The injected radiopharmaceuticals are phagocytized by the superficial macrophages of the synovial membrane, resulting in sclerosis and fibrosis of the formerly inflamed tissue, finally leading to reduced joint effusion and alleviation of joint pain.
Methods: The European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM) has written and approved these guidelines in tight collaboration with an international team of clinical experts, including rheumatologists.
Purpose: The clinical introduction of a radioactive and fluorescent hybrid tracer allowed for preoperative lymphatic mapping and intraoperative real-time fluorescence tracing of the sentinel lymph node (SLN) by a single injection. The aim of this feasibility study is to evaluate the first-in-human use of the hybrid tracer by combining indocyanine green (ICG) and radiocolloid based on Nanotop compound (99mTc Nanotop) for SLN biopsy (SLNB) in breast cancer patients.
Methods: The day before surgery, ICG-99mTc Nanotop was injected periareolarly in breast cancer patients scheduled for SLNB.
