Three members of a family showed a bifascicular bundle branch block in their electrocardiographic curves. One member had suffered from rheumatic myocarditis. The other two membranes did not show signs of cardiac disorder. The familial occurrence of conduction system disturbances are well known but has been reported infrequently. Etiology and pathogenesis are multifactorial. A definite statement with regard to the prognosis is not possible.
