Purpose: Trophoblast cell-surface antigen 2 (Trop2) is overexpressed in various solid tumors and contributes to tumor progression, while its expression remains low in normal tissues. Trop2-targeting antibody-drug conjugate (ADC), sacituzumab govitecan-hziy (Trodelvy), has shown efficacy in targeting this antigen. Leveraging the enhanced specificity of ADCs, we conducted the first immunoPET imaging study of Trop2 expression in gastric cancer (GC) and triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) models using Zr-labeled Trodelvy ([Zr]Zr-DFO-Trodelvy).

The diagnosis gestational trophoblastic disease (GTD) is known to have a significant psychological impact on women. Our objective was to provide insight in the psychological and physical consequences of women with GTD, while also reflecting on their coping strategies and their experiences of received care. A qualitative study was carried out using semi-structured interviews among women recently diagnosed with GTD.

Gestational trophoblastic disease (GTD) describes a group of rare benign and cancerous lesions originating from the trophoblast cells of the placenta. These neoplasms are unconventional entities, being one of the few instances in which cancer develops from the cells of another organism, the foetus. Although this condition was first described over 100 years ago, the specific genetic and non-genetic drivers of this disease remain unknown to this day.

Trophoblast glycoprotein (TPBG) plays a significant part in the growth of specific cancers, yet its connection to gastric cancer (GC) remains uncertain. This research seeks to analyse the fluctuation in TPBG levels in GC and evaluate how TPBG expression relates to the prognosis of GC patients. TPBG expression in GC and normal gastric tissues was investigated in The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) and Genotype-Tissue Expression (GTEx) database, further extracting the immunohistochemistry images from HPA database and validating by Western blot.
