Ten coordination compounds, [Cu(L)Cl] (), [Cu(L)NO] (), [Cu(L)Cl] (C3), [Cu(L)NO] (), [Cu(L)Cl] (), [Cu(L)NO] (), [Cu(L)NO] (), [Cu(L)Cl] (), [Cu(L)Cl] (), and [Cu(L)NO] (), containing pyridine derivatives of -methoxyphenyl-thiosemicarbazones were synthesized and characterized. The molecular structure of four compounds was investigated using single crystal X-ray diffraction. Spectral analysis techniques such as FT-IR, H NMR, C NMR, elemental analysis, and molar conductivity were used for all the synthesized compounds.

A consistent part of gas sensor research activities aims to improve sensing performances by synthesizing new sensing materials, improving the selection of elements in arrays, and optimizing the feature extraction and classification algorithms. This paper combines most of these aspects to confer selectivity to a low-selectivity sensor by using feature extraction algorithms applied to the sensor response kinetics. Several algorithms were employed to represent the kinetic behavior of the sensor response during the adsorption and desorption phases.

Objective: To compare outcomes after ankle fracture fixation between those receiving formal physical therapy (PT) vs. no formal PT and those with high vs. low PROMIS anxiety score (AS), and to evaluate the effect of PT in the setting of PROMIS AS scores.

Phosphorus (P) is a macronutrient that plays a crucial role in critical plant functions. Phosphate transporters (PHTs) ensure the acquisition and translocation of Pi in the plant, thereby playing a key role in maintaining normal plant growth under Pi deficiency conditions. In Brachypodium distachyon, the grass model system, the function of individual PHT genes, remains largely unknown.

MCL pie crusting for concomitant medial meniscal surgery does not appear to adversely influence primary ACL reconstruction functional outcomes.

December 2024

Knee Specialists, Durdham Down, Bristol, BS6 6UT, United Kingdom. Electronic address:

Objectives: Medial collateral ligament "pie-crusting" (MCLPC), selective release of the superficial MCL, has been shown to improve the arthroscopic access to the posterior horn of the medial meniscus without adversely affecting the outcomes of isolated meniscal surgery. However, whether MCL PC, to address concomitant meniscal lesions during anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (ACLR) surgery, adversely affects ACLR outcomes is unknown. The aim of this study was to assess whether patients who had undergone MCLPC at the time of ACLR had similar post outcomes to patients undergoing isolated ACLR.
