Objective: The pathogenic mechanism of depression involves chronic inflammation, which can be affected by sedentary behavior. This study aimed to determine whether sedentary behavior modified the association between depression and risk of death in the hypertensive population.
Methods: Data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (2007-2018) was analyzed.

Objective: To assess the value of serum Type I Interferon (IFN) score in predicting clinically meaningful progression in limited cutaneous systemic sclerosis (lcSSc) using a novel composite endpoint adopted from the MINIMISE clinical trial.
Methods: A retrospective, longitudinal lcSSc cohort was identified within a national, multicentre observational cohort. The MINIMISE combined Morbi-mortality endpoint was used as clinical outcome for a time to clinical worsening (TTCW) design.

Background: More than one in three adults with hypertension in the United States are unaware of their condition, highlighting the importance of large-scale screening campaigns. Currently, the identification of hypertension is largely limited to medical settings. To help overcome this barrier, we developed a novel high-throughput screening protocol that measures blood pressure (BP) while patients remain seated in an automobile ("car-BP").

Background: Hypertension is a major cardiovascular risk factor, yet traditional care often results in suboptimal blood pressure (BP) control at the population level. We implemented a remote hypertension management program that monitored home BP and titrated medications per algorithm. This study assessed the program's long-term effects by examining participants' office BP up to 42 months post-enrollment.

Background: Previous studies have shown that hypertonic saline nasal irrigation and gargling reduced the duration of symptoms in upper respiratory infections caused by coronavirus. This study aims to investigate the effects of two saline regimens on symptoms associated with severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2).
Methods: Between 2020 and 2022, individuals aged 18-65 years who tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 infection via polymerase chain reaction (PCR) were randomly assigned to either low- or high-saline regimens for 14 days.
