Introduction: Despite the high effectiveness of Ponseti casting in treating idiopathic clubfoot, patient-reported outcomes (PROs) are not studied well in the literature, necessitating further investigation into PROs to evaluate the effect on patients' lives. We used the Patient-Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System (PROMIS) to evaluate PROs in children with Ponseti-treated clubfoot and assess the effect of recurrence on these PROs.
Methods: This study retrospectively reviewed medical records from patients ages 5 to 18 years treated for idiopathic clubfoot at a single institution from 2002 to 2023 with available PROMIS data for mobility, pain, and peer relationships.

Introduction: Exercise-based physiotherapy is an established treatment of rotator cuff injury. Objective assessment of at-home exercise is critical to understand its relationship with clinical outcomes. This study uses the Smart Physiotherapy Activity Recognition System to measure at-home physiotherapy participation in patients with rotator cuff injury based on inertial sensor data captured from smart watches.

Chiral organic-inorganic metal halide (OIMH) materials are gaining increasing attention as candidates for asymmetric materials due to their unique photoelectric, chiral optic, and spintronic properties. The introduction of chirality into OIMHs is usually achieved by the use of chiral organic cations, while previous studies often focus on primary ammonium cations derived from commercially available chiral amines, limiting the tunability of the OIMH materials. Herein, we report the use of Zincke reactions to synthesize chiral N-substituted pyridinium salts, namely, (R)/(S)-methylbenzylpyridinium (/-MBnP) chloride and the corresponding 1D chiral OIMHs, (/-MBnP)PbX3 (X = Cl, Br, and I).

Introduction: Long-term data indicate that patients who underwent metabolic bariatric surgery have a higher risk of developing nutritional complications. Therefore, it is of utmost importance to monitor their nutritional status.
Methods: A scoping literature search was conducted in MEDLINE, EMBASE, CINAHL, and TRIP database to identify clinical practice guidelines for nutritional screening before and after metabolic bariatric surgery from learned societies.

According to the guidelines, the primary treatment for multiple myeloma is still based on drugs such as carfilzomib, lenalidomide, or daratumumab. However, patients with relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma (RRMM) may be insensitive or develop resistance to the above therapeutic medications. Thus, formulating standardized and rational treatment regimens for such patients remains an area for consideration.
