This study investigates the effects of negative bias temperature (NBT) stress and irradiation on the threshold voltage () of p-channel VDMOS transistors, focusing on degradation, recovery after each type of stress, and operational behavior under varying conditions. Shifts in (Δ) were analyzed under different stress orders, showing distinct influence mechanisms, including defects creation and their removal and electrochemical reactions. Recovery data after each type of stress indicated ongoing electrochemical processes, influencing subsequent stress responses.

Metabolomics analyses enable the examination and identification of endogenous biochemical reaction products, revealing information on the metabolic pathways and processes active within a living cell or organism. Determination of metabolic shifts can provide important information on a treatment or disease. Unlike other omics fields that typically have analytes of the same chemical class with common building blocks, those that fall under the nomenclature of metabolites encompass a wide array of different compounds with very diverse physiochemical properties.

Objective: To gain initial insight into the efficacy to lower intracranial pressure (ICP), side effects, and effects on cognition of five drugs commonly used to treat idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH).
Background: Limited clinical data exist for the treatment for IIH. Impaired cognition is recognized in IIH and can be exacerbated by medications.

Since the biological activities and toxicities of 'foreign' and/or excess levels of metal ions are predominantly determined by their precise molecular nature, here we have employed high-resolution H NMR analysis to explore the 'speciation' of paramagnetic Ni(II) ions in human saliva, a potentially rich source of biomolecular Ni(II)-complexants/chelators. These studies are of relevance to the corrosion of nickel-containing metal alloy dental prostheses (NiC-MADPs) in addition to the dietary or adverse toxicological intake of Ni(II) ions by humans. Unstimulated whole-mouth human saliva samples were obtained from n = 12 pre-fasted (≥8 h) healthy participants, and clear whole-mouth salivary supernatants (WMSSs) were obtained from these via centrifugation.

Background: Sequential application of radiofrequency with pulsed field (PF) ablation may increase lesion depth while preserving the advantages of PF. The study's aim was to determine lesion dimensions of sequential, colocalized radiofrequency and PF ablation.
Methods: A preclinical study using swine (n=4) performed lesions in the right/left ventricles.
