Innovation in synthesis methodologies is crucial for advancing the discovery of new materials. This work reports the electrosynthesis of a [Au(4-BuPhC≡C)(Dppe)]Cl nanocluster (Au NC) protected by alkynyl and phosphine ligands. From simple precursor, HAuCl and ligands, the whole synthesis is driven by a constant potential in single electrolytic cell.

Gyrodactylidae Cobbold, 1864 is a monophyletic family of hyperviviparous species, with 36 genera and approximately 700 species. Here, we focused on one of these genera - namely Jara & Cone, 1989 - characterizing its morphological variation systematically and testing its phylogenetic position in relation to other genera in the family. We collected and describe two new species of monogenean parasites of infecting Neotropical freshwater catfishes in Mexico.

This study presents the direct -alkylation of aromatic amines using greener primary alcohols as alkyl donors, catalyzed by base metal-derived Co(II) catalysts the borrowing hydrogen (BH) method. Two well-defined phosphine-free NNN-type pincer ligands (L1 and L2) were synthesized and utilized to prepare cobalt(II) catalysts C1 and C2. The catalysts were well characterized by UV-vis, IR, HRMS, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies.

This research paper presents the characterization of an enterocin-producing MF5 isolate and the determination of the in vitro antilisterial activity of enterocin produced by this isolate, named Ent-MF5. PCR-based screening for bacteriocin biosynthetic genes revealed that MF5 harbors multiple enterocin-encoding genes ( A, B, P and X), classified as class II bacteriocins and enterocin-P of (sharing up to 99% similarity at the genetic level). MF5 is sensitive to eight clinically important antibiotics and does not possess cytolysin activator -A, gelatinase -E and hyaluronidase -lA virulence genes.

The rapid spread of mobile tigecycline resistance presents a significant public health threat, particularly with the increasing prevalence of (X4)-positive Enterobacterales across various species. This study aimed to investigate the epidemic features and transmission dynamics of (X4)-positive (. ) through the analysis of 206 raw meats, including pork ( = 182), beef ( = 16), duck ( = 5), and chicken ( = 3).
