We invariably hear that Artificial Intelligence (AI), a rapidly evolving technology, does not just creatively assemble known knowledge. We are told that AI learns, processes and creates, starting from fixed points to arrive at innovative solutions. In the case of scientific work, AI can generate data without ever having entered a laboratory, (i.

The distributed microgrids cooperate to accomplish economic and environmental objectives, which have a vital impact on maintaining the reliable and economic operation of power systems. Therefore a distributed multi-agent reinforcement learning (MARL) algorithm is put forward incorporating the actor-critic architecture, which learns multiple critics for subtasks and utilizes only information from neighbors to find dispatch strategy. Based on our proposed algorithm, multi-objective optimal dispatch problem of microgrids with continuous state changes and power values is dealt with.

Wearable sensors have broad application potential in motion assessment, health monitoring, and medical diagnosis. However, relying on a specialized instrument for power supply and signal reading makes sensors unsuitable for on-site detection. To solve this problem, a reusable self-powered electrochromic sensor patch based on enzymatic biofuel cells were constructed to realize the on-site visualized monitoring.

Purpose: to characterize mastication and electrical activation of the masseter and anterior temporalis muscles in children and adolescents with osteogenesis imperfecta (OI), and relate results to guided occlusion and occlusal interference.
Methods: This observational, analytical cross-sectional study included 22 subjects divided into mild OI (MOI) (type 1) (n=15) and moderate-to-severe OI (MSOI) (types 3, 4, and 5) (n=7) groups. The Orofacial Myofunctional Evaluation with Scores (OMES) form was used to evaluate the clinical aspects of mastication.

In mammals, the four subunit isoforms HCN1-4 assemble to form functional homotetrameric and heterotetrameric hyperpolarization-activated cyclic nucleotide-modulated (HCN) ion channels. Despite the outstanding relevance of HCN channels for organisms, including generating electrical rhythmicity in cardiac pacemaker cells and diverse types of brain neurons, key channel properties are still elusive. In particular, the unitary conductance, of HCN channels is highly controversial.
