Objectives: Polysaccharides from are known to have several bioactive effects. Previous studies have found that low-molecular-weight polysaccharide (GP1) is degraded by and promotes the production of beneficial bacteria and metabolites, which improves immune disorder and intestinal injury, and then enhances the body's immune regulation ability. However, the immune regulation effect of GP1 on a healthy body has not been studied.

Curcumin, a compound known for its antioxidant and neuroprotective properties, faces challenges due to its low water solubility, which can limit its effectiveness. One effective method to address this issue is through amorphization. Incorporating curcumin into a polymeric matrix to form amorphous solid dispersions is a common approach.

The approaches to correct thyroid deficiency include replacement therapy with thyroid hormones (THs), but such therapy causes a number of side effects. A possible alternative is thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) receptor activators, including allosteric agonists. The aim of this work was to study the effect of ethyl-2-(4-(4-(5-amino-6-(-butylcarbamoyl)-2-(methylthio)thieno[2,3-d]pyrimidin-4-yl)phenyl)--1,2,3-triazol-1-yl) acetate (TPY3m), a TSH receptor allosteric agonist developed by us, on basal and thyroliberin (TRH)-stimulated TH levels and the hypothalamic-pituitary-thyroid (HPT) axis in male rats with high-fat diet/low-dose streptozotocin-induced type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM).

Accelerated photooxidation of salicylic acid (SA) was performed using UV radiation and hydrogen peroxide. HPLC-MS analysis showed that the primary intermediates are 2,5-dihydroxybenzoic acid, 2,3-dihydroxybenzoic acid, pyrocatechol, and phenol. Deeper oxidation leads to low molecular weight aliphatic acids, such as maleic, fumaric, and glyoxylic.

Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is one of the deadliest cancers in the world. Neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC) has become a standard treatment for patients scheduled for surgical resection, but the high rate of postoperative recurrence is a critical problem. Optimization of NAC is desirable to reduce postoperative recurrence and achieve long-term survival.
