Plasmon-Enhanced Fluorescence of Single Extracellular Vesicles Captured in Arrayed Aluminum Nanoholes.

Extracellular vesicles (EVs) are nanoparticles encapsulated with a lipid bilayer, and they constitute an excellent source of biomarkers for multiple diseases. However, the heterogeneity in their molecular compositions constitutes a major challenge for their recognition and profiling, thereby limiting their application as an effective biomarker. A single-EV analysis technique is crucial to both the discovery and the detection of EV subpopulations that carry disease-specific signatures.

Granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF) mobilizes peripheral blood (PB) progenitor cells from bone marrow (BM) into circulation for PB stem cell transplantation (PBSCT). This study aimed to develop a population pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic (PK-PD) model of filgrastim in healthy subjects to optimize PB CD34 cell collection. Plasma filgrastim concentrations and CD34 cell count data were obtained from a clinical study involving healthy Korean subjects.

Objectives: To evaluate the manufacturability, efficacy and safety of allogeneic CD19 chimeric antigen receptor double-negative T cells (CD19-CAR-DNTs) as an off-the-shelf therapeutic cell product.

Methods: A membrane proteome array was used to assess the off-target binding of CD19-CAR. DNTs derived from healthy donors were transduced with lentiviral vectors encoding the CD19-CAR.

Studies addressing patients' experiences of person-centered care (PCC) in the context of allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) are scarce; hence, this study aimed to explore patients' experiences of PCC, and its associations with individual characteristics and health-related quality of life, in the context of allogeneic stem cell transplantation. It is a cross-sectional survey study, in patients who had undergone an allo-HSCT at one center in Sweden. The PCC instrument for outpatient care in rheumatology (PCCoc/rheum) was used.

Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) is a rare hematologic malignancy with a bimodal distribution of incidence, with most patients diagnosed between the ages of 15 and 30 years and another peak in patients older than 55 years. It is estimated that in 2023, almost 9000 people were diagnosed with HL in the United States. Most patients will be cured using conventional chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
