The cerebellum, a subcortical structure, is traditionally linked to sensorimotor integration and coordination, although its role in cognition and affective behavior, as well as epilepsy, is increasingly recognized. Cerebellar dysfunction in patients with epilepsy can result from genetic disorders, antiseizure medications, seizures, and seizure-related trauma. Impaired cerebellar function, regardless of cause, can cause ataxia (imbalance, impaired coordination, unsteady gait), tremor, gaze-evoked nystagmus, impaired slow gaze pursuit and saccade accuracy, as well as speech deficits (slurred, scanning, or staccato).

Objective: The current lack of standardised perioperative pain management protocols for open radical cystectomy (ORC) underscores the need for alternative approaches to the longstanding tradition of epidural block. The aim of this study was to assess the impact of bilateral single injection quadratum lumborum block (QLB) on patients' recovery and complication rates compared with epidural analgesia after ORC in a single-centre, randomised, parallel-group trial including adult patients with bladder cancer.
Material And Methods: Consecutive ORC patients were randomly allocated into QLB and the epidural group.

Objective: To assess the prevalence of metabolic associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) in patients with primary aldosteronism (PA) compared to benign adrenal adenomas, and to evaluate the impact of hormonal excess in inducing MASLD.
Design: Single-centre retrospective study.
Methods: Hepatic steatosis was assessed by liver/spleen (L/S) ratio from unenhanced abdomen computed tomography images (reference value < 1.

Introduction: The INCRAFT™ Stent Graft System is a trimodular, bifurcated, ultra-low-profile endovascular device designed for endovascular aneurysm repair in patients with abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA).
Materials And Methods: The study population comprised a prospective multi-center cohort (n = 85) and a single-center retrospective cohort (n = 61) of Korean AAA patients treated with INCRAFT. Postprocedural follow-up involved computed tomography (CT) imaging at 1 and 12 months post-procedure to monitor aneurysm dimensions and detect any endoleak.

To determine the choice of flap cover for patients presenting with bilateral lower limb trauma requiring free flap cover and to derive a step-wise guide to the planning of bilateral lower limb free flaps. This was a retrospective study of patients over a 20 year period from 2000 to 2020 who presented with bilateral lower limb defects following trauma and were managed with two free flaps for wound cover, done either simultaneously or sequentially in the same admission. Of the 11 cases with 22 defects, there were 3 re-explorations with 1 flap loss managed with delayed fasciocutaneous flap cover.
