Purpose: This study investigated the synergistic effects of reduced graphene oxide (RGO) on the antibacterial activity of three calcium hydroxide-based intracanal medicaments with different vehicles.
Methods: Multispecies biofilms were cultured in a bovine root canal model. Intracanal medicaments containing nonaqueous vehicles, including N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP; CleaniCal), propylene glycol (PG; UltraCal XS), and polyethylene glycol (PEG; Calcipex II), were placed in the model.

Purpose: Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is remarkably resistant to standard modalities, including radiotherapy. We hypothesized that metabolic reprogramming may underlie PDAC radioresistance, and moreover, that it would be possible to exploit these metabolic changes for therapeutic intent.
Methods And Materials: We established two matched models of radioresistant PDAC cells by exposing the AsPC-1 and MIAPaCa-2 human pancreatic cancer cells to incremental doses of radiation.

Maize grain samples collected from 129 small-scale farmers' stores in southern and southwestern Ethiopia were analysed by LC-MS/MS for a total of 218 mycotoxins and other fungal metabolites of which 15% were regulated mycotoxins. Mycotoxins produced by , , and accounted for 31%, 17%, and 12% of the metabolites, respectively. Most of the current samples were contaminated by masked and/or emerging mycotoxins with moniliformin being the most prevalent one, contaminating 93% of the samples.
