Objective: Familial dysalbuminemic hyperthyroxinemia (FDH) has not been thoroughly studied in the Chinese population to date. The clinical characteristics of FDH in Chinese patients were summarized, and the susceptibility of common free thyroxine (FT4) immunoassay methods was evaluated.
Methods: The study included 16 affected patients from eight families with FDH admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University.

Tissue engineering is rapidly growing now and can become a promising alternative to transplantation of organs and tissues, as it is devoid of major shortcomings of transplantology, such as acute shortage, complexity of selection, delivery and storage of donor material, lifelong immunosuppressive therapy. One of the most widely known methods of obtaining biological scaffolds for the subsequent creation of tissue-engineered constructs of organs and tissues is decellularization. The evaluation of the quality of the obtained scaffolds, based on the study of the viability of cell structures in decellularized and recellularized matrices, is one of the priorities of modern regenerative medicine worldwide.

Background: The successful use of rose hip for the treatment of osteoarthritis is well documented. Several randomized placebo controlled double-blind studies, as mono or combination therapy, have demonstrated treatment efficacy as well as excellent tolerability.
Purpose: This review focuses on the molecular mechanism underlying the clinical effects of rose hip in osteoarthritis (OA).
The possibility of applying induced chemiluminescence was investigated to evaluate oxidative capability of the substrate under the action of hydroxyl radicals and estimate the intensity of free radical processes in biological samples based on the analysis of the organic hydroperoxyde response in a probe. For this purpose the chemiluminescence light sum was measured in 3 steps: when Fe2+ was introduced into in a sample; in course of Fenton reaction (introducing Fe2+ and H202) and when Fe2+ was introduced into the sample after Fenton reaction. Light sum was measured depending on concentration (dilution) of the sample.
