Tertiary lymphoid structures (TLS), formerly recognized as Crohn's-like structures, serve as crucial biomarkers for evaluating the progression of colorectal cancer (CRC). Understanding their spatial distribution, cellular composition, and interactions within CRC is paramount for comprehending the immune response in the tumor microenvironment (TME). TLS are comprised of a T-cellular compartment and a B-cellular compartment, the latter encompassing follicular dendritic cells (FDCs), high endothelial venules (HEVs), and lymphatic vessels.

Unlike tremors in neurodegenerative conditions, ET is not observed at rest. Continued research is essential to optimize treatment strategies and address the unmet need for sustainable, patient-centered therapies that minimize side effects and enhance long-term quality of life (QoL) for individuals with ET.

In this and adjacent regions, synchronized neuronal activity within theta-band oscillations (4-10Hz) is correlated with attentive processing that leads to successful memory encoding . Acetylcholine facilitates the hippocampus entering a theta oscillatory regime and modulates the temporal organization of activity within theta oscillations .

Animals construct diverse behavioral repertoires by moving a limited number of body parts with varied kinematics and patterns of coordination. There is evidence that distinct movements can be generated by changes in activity dynamics within a common pool of motoneurons or by selectively engaging specific subsets of motoneurons in a task-dependent manner. However, in most cases, we have an incomplete understanding of the patterns of motoneuron activity that generate distinct actions and of how upstream premotor circuits select and assemble such motor programs.

The retrosplenial cortex (RSP) is a complex brain region with multiple interconnected subregions that plays crucial roles in various cognitive functions, including memory, spatial navigation, and emotion. Understanding the afferent and efferent connectivity of the RSP is essential for comprehending the underlying mechanisms of its functions. Here, via viral tracing and fluorescence micro-optical sectioning tomography (fMOST), we systematically investigated the anatomical organisation of the upstream and downstream circuits of glutamatergic and GABAergic neurons in the dorsal and ventral RSP.
