The severity of voice impairment can be assessed by severity scores such as the Voice Handicap Index (VHI). Chronic Helicobacter pylori (Hp) infection is the largest etiological factor for gastric cancer, but in recent years the reports of Hp-naïve gastric neoplasms (HpNGNs) have increased as the Hp-infected population in Japan has been declining. The histopathologic spectrum of HpNGNs differs significantly from that of conventional Hp-infected gastric neoplasms. Molecularly, the former harbor considerably fewer genetic and epigenetic abnormalities, reflecting the absence of chronic inflammatory conditions in the gastric mucosa.

Objective: To provide primary care providers (PCPs) with an approach for diagnosing and managing endocervical polyps, detailing a procedural technique for cervical polypectomy and outlining key information on when to refer to a gynecologist.
Sources Of Information: This review and approach are based on the second author's clinical practice and available literature from 1994 to 2023.
Main Message: Cervical polyps are commonly asymptomatic and benign, but can cause intermenstrual and postcoital bleeding.

Background: Chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (CRSwNP) is an inflammatory condition characterized by persistent nasal obstruction, discharge, facial pressure, and olfactory dysfunction. CRSwNP significantly impairs quality of life (QoL), with olfactory loss being a particularly distressing symptom that affects food enjoyment, personal safety, and social interactions.
Methods: This study investigated the experiences of Italian patients with CRSwNP.
