Given the intricacy involved in diagnosing prostatic abscess and the associated risk of severe complications, we present a case involving a 72-year-old male patient initially suspected of urinary retention due to benign prostatic enlargement, only to reveal multiple prostatic abscesses during surgical intervention. The objective is to raise awareness among clinicians regarding the potential presence of latent prostatic abscess and to prevent the occurrence of serious complications. Timely implementation of aggressive antimicrobial therapy and surgical drainage has been shown to significantly enhance patient prognosis and mitigate the risk of serious complications.

Erythema multiforme major (EMM) is an acute, immune-mediated mucocutaneous disease that rarely affects the genital mucosal surfaces. This study describes a 39-year-old male with this rare disease and unusual presentation. The patient presented to an emergency department with oral lesions, drainage from both eyes, injected sclera, and characteristic targetoid lesions on the face, upper extremities, torso, and plantar surfaces of the feet.

Tuberculosis is a major public health problem in Morocco and most of the developing countries but tuberculous otomastoiditis is quite rare. Here we report a case where a seven-year-old patient had chronic right otomastoiditis and retro-auricular fistula, whose specificity is its persistence after prolonged unsuccessful medical and surgical therapy for more than 2 months, and its complication by homolateral sigmoid sinus thrombosis. Computed Tomography (CT) scan of temporal bones showed complete destruction of right mastoid cells and a hypodense complement in the right middle ear.

The Mundeswari River, an ecologically distressed river in eastern India, has been subjected to water quality deterioration largely due to anthropogenic activities in its vicinity. This study aimed to comprehensively evaluate the current state of pollution in the river and assess the appropriateness of river water for irrigation, given its extensive use for agricultural purposes. Monthly water quality monitoring was undertaken at four distinct sampling sites (SP1-SP4) over a two-year period (2020-2022), considering seventeen water quality parameters.
