This study aimed to explore the contamination of aflatoxins by investigating the spatial distribution of aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) in cow feedstuff and aflatoxin M1 (AFM1) in raw milk, and the potential health risks of AFM1 in milk and dairy products. Feedstuff and raw milk were collected from 160 pastures in three climate zones of China from October to November 2020. The results indicated the level of AFB1 and AFM1 ranged from 51.

We aimed to evaluate the reproductive efficiency of Nelore cows in fixed-time artificial insemination (FTAI) programs with early resynchronization. A total of 468 Nelore cows were divided into two experimental groups: R30-conventional resynchronization at 30 days ( = 234); R22-early resynchronization at 22 days ( = 234). Both groups followed a synchronization protocol using intravaginal progesterone devices combined with the administration of steroids and gonadotropins.

The pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) had a major impact on the health of people worldwide, including the pediatric inflammatory bowel disease (PIBD) patients. As no study has investigated the susceptibility and disease course of COVID-19 in PIBD patients after the end of zero-COVID policy in China, we conducted a retrospective cross-sectional study in our center. A cross-sectional survey enrolling PIBD patients has been completed by online survey, phone, and face-to-face assessment.

Background: Measles, an ongoing public health concern, demands continuous molecular surveillance and virus characterization for elimination. Despite Iran achieving measles elimination status in 2019 through robust molecular testing and vaccination, the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted global vaccination efforts, leading to increased measles-related morbidity and mortality. This study aims to overview measles virus serological and molecular traits in Iran from 1st January 2021 to 30th April 2023.

T-cell prolymphocytic leukemia (T-PLL) is a rare mature T-cell lymphoma that is usually associated with poor prognosis and short overall survival. We present a case of a 61-year-old woman presenting with T-PLL and the leukemic cells harboring (-breakpoint cluster region; -ABL protooncogene 1) fusion transcripts as the result of a variant of t(9;22)(q34;q11) called Philadelphia translocation: t(9;22;18)(q34;q11;q21). Sequencing revealed a rare transcript with an exon 6 breakpoint corresponding to e6a2 transcripts, which has thus far been reported in only 26 cases of leukemias.
