This systematic review aimed to collate and synthesise research examining the relationship between diet and fitness app use and disordered eating, including body image concerns and compulsive exercise.

Background: Clinical characteristics of psychosis in HIV infection have been described, but there have been limited comparative studies in HIV-endemic low-resource regions.
Aim: To compare clinical characteristics of psychosis in HIV-positive and HIV-negative patients at the main psychiatric referral units in Uganda.
Method: Patients with psychosis were consecutively recruited and completed a standardised demographic questionnaire and psychiatric and laboratory assessments including an HIV test.
Challenged by patients: a qualitative study of clinical supervisions of endocrinologists conducted by psychiatric liaison clinicians.

Background: Clinical supervision by psychiatric liaison clinicians is frequently provided in medical settings such as oncology and palliative care, but rarely in endocrinology. Consequently, the specific psychosocial issues faced by endocrinologists in their daily clinical practice and how they deal with them remain largely unknown. We aimed to explore individual supervisions of endocrinologists to gain insight into what kind of clinical situations they present, how they react to them and how this is worked through in supervision.

Objective: to understand the transitional processes that affect the adaptation of people who live with limitations resulting from leprosy.
Methods: This is a qualitative study based on the precepts of Transition Theory, mediated by care-research, with 24 people with limitations resulting from leprosy in an ex-hospital colony in Piauí. Semi-structured interviews were carried out.
Objective: Research on how different types of trauma affect depression and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) symptoms in veterans has yielded inconsistent results. Shame, a painful and negative self-evaluative emotion observed in PTSD and across interpersonal traumas, may help explain past findings. The present study explored (a) how trauma types (childhood abuse, combat exposure, and military sexual trauma [MST]) may be associated with depression and PTSD severity and (b) how shame may be associated with trauma type, PTSD symptoms, and depression symptoms in a treatment-seeking veteran sample.
