Antimicrobial resistant pathogens are a leading cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide, with overuse and misuse of antimicrobials being key contributors. We aimed to identify factors associated with antibiotic prescriptions among patients presenting to clinics in Kenya. We performed a retrospective, descriptive cohort study of persons presenting to outpatient clinics in Western and Coastal Kenya, including symptoms, physical exams, clinician assessments, laboratory results and prescriptions.

Objective: To establish the prevalence of bronchiectasis, correlate the IgG IV or SC immunoglobulin dose and serum IgG levels with the total Bhalla score and the severity of bronchiectasis and associate serum IgG levels with the development of pulmonary infectious processes in patients with diagnosis of innate errors of immunity.
Methods: A descriptive, observational, cross-sectional study with patients over 18 years of age diagnosed with IBD. Clinical records and computed axial tomography were reviewed.

The inactivation effects of existing virus control techniques may vary depending on the environmental factors. Therefore, it is important to establish a suitable evaluation system for assessing virus control techniques against airborne viruses for further real-world implementation.
