The serious threat posed by microplastics pollution to soil ecosystems and human health has attracted worldwide attention. Microplastics of different types are present in the soil environment, whereas research about the effects of different microplastics on soil ecology are limited. This study sought to determine how three common microplastics (polyethylene (PE), polystyrene (PS), and polyvinyl chloride (PVC)) affect soil physicochemical characteristics, enzyme activities, bacterial community, and their metabolic pathways at a 1 % w/w concentration.

Biofloc technology (BFT) has recently attracted great attention due to minimal water exchange and reduced feed intake. This study aimed to recognize daily changes in the digestive physiology of between a traditional system and BFT. The enzyme activity of trypsin (try), chymotrypsin (chy), leucine aminopeptidase (lap), alkaline proteases (alk), lipase (lip), and amylase (amy), along with the gene expression of trypsin (), chymotrypsin (), pepsin (), amylase (), and phospholipase () were measured throughout a daily cycle.

Moreover, synergistic anti-proliferation effects against tumor cells were found when used in combination with 5-Fluorouracil (5-FU). Herein, a novel leucine ureido derivative (compound 3) was synthesized by coupling cytotoxic agent 5-FU with leucine ureido derivatives containing the 1,2,3-triazole moiety esterification.

Among the M1 family of oxytocinase aminopeptidases, insulin-regulated aminopeptidase IRAP, is an emerging drug target implicated in various biological pathways and particularly in MHC-I antigen presentation through amino-terminal trimming of exogenous cross-presented peptides. A few series of inhibitors inspired either by angiotensin IV, one of IRAP substrates, or by bestatin a pan aminopeptidase inhibitor, have been disclosed. However, the variety and number of chemotypes remains relatively limited.
