Vitiligo is a chronic autoimmune pigmentation disorder shaped by a complex interplay of genetic predispositions and environmental triggers. While conventional therapies-phototherapy, corticosteroids, and immunosuppressants-can be effective, their benefits are often partial and temporary, with recurrence common once treatment stops. As such, there is increasing interest in exploring complementary approaches that may offer a more sustainable impact.

Introduction: We propose and assess the biomechanical stability of medial column screw supplementation in a synthetic distal femur fracture model.
Materials And Methods: Twenty-four low density synthetic femora modeling osteoporotic, intraarticular distal femur fractures with medial metaphyseal comminution were split into two fixation groups: (1) lateral locking distal femur plate (PA- plate alone) and (2) lateral locking distal femur plate with a 6.5 mm fully threaded medial cannulated screw (PWS- plate with screw).

Plants and algae harbor diverse molecules with antioxidant activity and have been demonstrated to directly inhibit cancer cell growth and mitigate the oxidative damage associated with certain antitumor therapies. While antioxidant supplementation, either alone or in combination with chemotherapy, has shown promise in improving quality of life, further research is needed to explore the effects of antioxidant combinations on specific cancer cell lines. In this study, the in vitro cytotoxic and apoptotic properties of natural compounds derived from plants and algae, as well as certain dietary supplements, were investigated against various human cancer cell lines, including bone, leukemia, colorectal, breast, and prostate cancers.

Fire blight is an economically devastating disease caused by the bacterium . Infections lead can shoot blight and, when unmanaged, become systemic and can quickly cause tree death and spread through an orchard via active infections sites producing bacterial ooze. With climate change, increasingly popular high-density training systems, and the susceptibility of many consumers desired apple cultivars, shoot blight management has become exceptionally challenging despite the diverse management tactics available.

Eccentric exercise and collisions that lead to muscle damage are common place among athletes. This study aimed to investigate the effect of a multi-ingredient supplement (MIS), containing the extracts of turmeric, chicken meat, and apple and ancient peat, on markers of muscle damage in collegiate male players following a rugby match. A position-matched, double-blind, randomized, and crossover design was employed in this study.
