Introduction: Graduate medical education (GME) lacks a standardized military training program for general surgery residents, and concern exists that they may not be prepared to serve as combat surgeons on training completion. The purpose of this study was to assess military surgery trainee satisfaction with their programs. Our hypothesis was that military residents were not completely confident to care for combat casualties on completion of current GME training.

Objective: To effectively combat the simultaneous overdose and maternal mortality crises, a multimodal approach is needed. The aim of this study is to evaluate the preliminary effectiveness of a pilot, experiential learning, substance use disorder (SUD) curriculum embedded into a third-year medical student obstetrics and gynecology clerkship to improve self-reported confidence in SUD clinical skills.
Methods: This SUD curriculum was designed and implemented in an outpatient clinic, which provides integrated obstetric, gynecologic, and addiction medicine services for pregnant and parenting people with SUD.

Background: Preeclampsia, a condition in pregnancy characterized by new onset high blood pressure and proteinuria, complicates 2%-8% of pregnancies globally. Early detection, careful monitoring, and treatment of high blood pressure are crucial in preventing mortality related to preeclampsia disorders. There is limited data that examines obstetric/gynecologic (OBGYN) provider-type practices concerning management of hypertensive disorders of pregnancy to reduce early onset preeclampsia (EOP).
