Bladder cancer (BC) is a major global health issue with a high recurrence rate and limited effective treatments. Over the past few years, it has become evident that miRNAs play a role in the carcinogenesis process, particularly in regulating genes that promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. This review focuses on the extent to which natural products can act as potential miRNA modulators for the management of bladder cancer.

Background: Cancer remains a leading cause of death worldwide. Environmental factors, specifically endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs), like phthalates, are increasingly being linked to cancer development. Phthalates, widely used in consumer products, can activate the aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR).

The World Health Organization has confirmed that asbestos fibres are carcinogenic, claiming that asbestos-related diseases should be eradicated worldwide. Actinolite, amosite, anthophyllite, chrysotile, crocidolite, and tremolite are regulated asbestiform mineral phases. However, in nature, asbestos minerals occur either in a fibrous and asbestiform (original morphology characterized by high length-to-width ratio and provided of high tensile strength and flexibility) or fibrous but not asbestiform appearance.

The development of mouse models for thyroid cancer has significantly advanced over the years, enhancing our understanding of thyroid tumorigenesis, molecular pathways, and treatment responses. The earliest mouse models of thyroid cancer relied on hormone, radiation, or chemical carcinogenesis to induce tumors. However, as our understanding of the genetic alterations driving thyroid cancer has expanded, more sophisticated genetic engineering techniques have been employed to create models with thyroid-specific expression of these driver mutations.

Background: Amorpha fruticosa was used for treating burn, ambustion, carbuncle, and eczema in the traditional Chinese medicine. Although more and more attention has been paid to its biological activity recently, the antitumor activities of the essential oils (EOs) extracted from its leaves (AFLEO) and flowers (AFFEO), and their molecular mechanisms have never been reported up to now. The objective of present study was to examine the chemical compositions of AFLEO and AFFEO, then investigate the effects and pharmacological mechanism of EOs against hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).
