To understand the gut microbiota composition in different intestinal segments is essential to clarify the structure-hypoglycemic relationship of Fructus Mori Polysaccharides (MFP). In this study, the spatial distribution of gut microbiota and fecal metabolites affected by MFP in type 2 diabetes mice was investigated using the 16S rRNA high-throughput sequencing technology and gas chromatography. The results showed that MFP could control body weight and reduce the blood glucose level.

Online detection of internal quality of strawberries presents challenges particularly concerning fruit damage, detection accuracy, and processing efficiency. This study explores the feasibility of using Vis/NIRS for online detection of SSC in strawberries during hanging transportation. After analyzing SSC distribution in strawberries, an optical sensing system was developed, and optimal configurations were identified using PLSR models.

Soda saline-alkali soils pose significant challenges to agricultural productivity due to high pH and excessive sodium content. This study investigated the removal of excess salts in soda saline-alkali soil through electrochemical treatment (ECT). Traditional ECT often led to uneven soil pH distribution, with acidic conditions near the anode and alkaline conditions near the cathode, which limited its effectiveness for soil improvement.

For millennia, aloe vera (AV) and eucalyptus oil (EO) have been recognized as natural sources of healing and have been utilized for medicinal purposes in the realm of health. As an attempt to treat pressure sores, AV and eucalyptus oil were added as supplements to biocompatible and biodegradable poly (ethylene oxide) (PEO) polymer to synthesize nano and micro fibrous wound dressings by the electrospinning process. Additive solubility in polymeric matrix is the key parameter to achieve the synthesis of homogeneous fibers with controlled release of therapeutic oils, cure and humidity; therefore, lecithin as herbal (soybean) based emulsifier was used to control additive/polymer solubility.
