Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) is an autoimmune astrocytopathy against foot processes of aquaporin-4 (AQP4) water channels. Patients with NMOSD tend to have other coexisting autoimmune/connective tissue diseases. However, AQP-4-antibody-positive NMOSD coexisting with ankylosing spondylitis (AS) is rare.

Water entry at germination for black locust (Robinia pseudoacacia L.) seeds which are known as hard seeds with impermeable seed coat to water, was examined using micro-magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). The MRI apparatus equipped with a low-field (1 T; Tesla) permanent magnet was used, which is open access, easy maintenance, operable and transportable.

Inflammatory pseudotumor of liver although a rare entity is an important differential diagnosis of hepatic space occupying lesions as well as an important cause of portal hypertension, commonly mimicking malignant tumors on imaging and histology. We report a case of a 25-year-old postpartum female who presented to our emergency with seizures and altered sensorium and was found to be having uncontrolled hyperglycemia and metabolic encephalopathy. She had a 2 month history of low grade fever and pain in right hypochondrium.
