Recent Findings: Advancements in rheumatoid arthritis management have paralleled declining trends in cardiovascular disease risks. Biomarkers like CRP, Lipoprotein(a), Apolipoprotein B 100, and imaging tools such as coronary artery calcium scoring enhance cardiovascular risk stratification, particularly in intermediate-risk RA patients.

Background: Emergency departments (EDs) around the world are facing a crippling crisis of overcrowding, a complex problem caused by a variety of factors. One contributing factor is the overutilization of EDs by patients with frequent visits.
Objective: This study aims at measuring the prevalence of this phenomenon and better understanding the characteristics of high utilizers.
Background: Women involved in the criminal legal system have elevated rates of opioid use disorder, which is treatable, and HIV, which is preventable with pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP). There are significant social and structural barriers to integrated delivery of PrEP and medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD), limiting women's ability to access these life-saving interventions. In a two parallel-arm randomized controlled trial, we are assessing an innovative eHealth delivery model that integrates PrEP with MOUD and is tailored to meet the specific needs of women involved in the criminal legal system.
