Purpose: In the care for oesophageal cancer, symptom assessment was mainly carried out from the perspective of the total score using scales, which ignored individual differences in symptom experience among patients. To provide personalized symptom management, individual differences among patients with oesophageal cancer warranted further investigation. The objective was to identify the different symptom profiles of patients after oesophagectomy and examine the risk factors affecting the symptom profiles.

Omissions or delays in desmopressin can result in serious patient harm in patients with Arginine-Vasopressin Deficiency (AVP-D), formally known as Cranial Diabetes Insipidus (CDI). Desmopressin administration practice in hospitals has not been thoroughly investigated previously. This study evaluated desmopressin prescription and administration practice at a large tertiary centre.

Background: The reported benefit of poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase inhibitor (PARPi) maintenance in patients with newly diagnosed and platinum (Pt)-sensitive recurrent ovarian cancer (OC) included in randomized clinical trials needs to be corroborated in a less selected population.
Objective: The aim is to increase the evidence on niraparib in a real-world setting.
Methods: This is a retrospective observational study including women with platinum-sensitive relapsed high-grade serous OC who started niraparib maintenance between August 2019 (marketing data, Spain) and May 2022.

Background: Fast recovery after cesarean section is vital since the mother not only has to take care of herself but also the newborn. Recovery scores are useful tools to measure and compare recovery; however, standardized questionnaires may miss in-depth patient experiences. What is important to women in the postoperative period after cesarean section can vary in different populations, making it crucial to understand the specific needs of one's own population.

Background: Electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) is an effective treatment for treatment-resistant depression (TRD). There are limited data on the improvement of anxiety symptoms in patients receiving ECT for TRD.
Objective: The aim of the study was to examine the extent to which anxiety symptom severity improves, relative to improvements in depressive symptoms, in TRD patients receiving an acute course of ECT.
